There are many layers of energy and information in astrology – each planet, the Zodiac Sign it's in plus complex and shifting planetary patterns hold special messages.
If you think of the planets as musical instruments: each planet/instrument has its own dynamic tone as well as wonderful variety of notes; all the planets including the Sun and Moon (instruments) are always making music – one instrument (planet) may be featured at a certain time, sometimes the music is harmonious and melodic, sometimes discordant and agitated.
This week I’d like to draw your attention to the planet Mars which is returning to Scorpio until early August, and the Mar’s theme for you in the next 2 months. (Next week with the June forecast, I’ll fill
you in on other planetary melodies that will flow through the coming weeks.)
Mars has a vibrant tone; it is the planet of energy, excitement, pressure, achievement, conflict. In the next 2 months:
ARIES: There’ll be financial pressures to contend with, pressing monetary matters to sort out, big decisions and extra outlays. There’ll also be action and progress with a major financial undertaking or expensive plans. Keep your cool to deal with all this advantageously.
TAURUS: An ambitious project with your mate or a family member could gather momentum. You’ll also pour energy into relationships, doing things for others, reconnecting with people you shared a
lot with in the past and addressing contentious issues, including issues that go way back. Watch out for fiery patches.
GEMINI: Energetic labours of love to help others and be supportive will push the pace. Extra tasks and duties will be demanding. Physical tasks or health pursuits will require concerted efforts too. Watch a tendency to get tense and agitated.
CANCER: Special plans and commitments with your children will be a joy but they’ll ask a lot of you.You’ll throw yourself into a creative or personal pursuit you have a passionate interest in, to achieve an ambitious goal. Singles, a flash of attraction could ignite a new romance. Keeping your emotions calm will be the challenge.
LEO: There’ll be hectic bursts of activity on the home front or with family affairs, special family plans, get-togethers, a strenuous domestic task or project and visitors from afar. Watch out for
spats, also hassles or repairs with domestic appliances.
VIRGO: A trip, getaway or change of scene will take an enthusiastic effort. Exciting plans with someone interstate or overseas will gather momentum. Do your homework with an ambitious project; it will be a learn as you go experience. Don’t let differing ideas from others become heated; choose your words carefully.
LIBRA: A big financial undertaking will forge ahead, there’ll be a new financial arrangement to sort out with another, prepare for extra expenses too. Don’t get stressed by the pressure and details,
patience and perseverance will serve you; also watch a tendency for conflict over money matters.
SCORPIO: With Mars in Scorpio, your drive, motivation and determination will feature; this is a time for breaking through with problems, getting on top and taking dynamic steps forward with your plans and goals. Your fighting spirit will also be to the fore; watch a tendency to be argumentative or to take offence when none was intended

SAGITTARIUS: An old frustration or nagging upset with someone close could resurface; handle it calmly, positively, it’s your chance to put it behind you. A waiting situation or unfinished business
will take patience and perseverance. Take a little extra care health-wise; it will be time for action with a matter you’ve been ignoring or a change you’ve been postponing.
